Q. What is the Multiple Listing Service
(MLS) and why is it so important for selling my home?
A. MLS is undoubtedly the greatest marketing tool ever invented
for selling your home. The main point about having your house listed
in the MLS is that you expand your sales force by the number of area
MLS members. Instead of having just one agent working for you, now
you have thousands of them! The MLS will give you maximum exposure
and this is the key to a successful transaction. There is no other
effective way to sell your property and be successful.
Also, when your home is on the Multiple Listing
Service (MLS), it is automatically listed on several top web sites
including Realtor.com, and ChicagoTribune.com, in addition to
approximately 1000 other real estate websites. This is the same MLS
system that your home would be listed on if you were to sell thru a
traditional real estate agent.
Q. Will my MLS listing look the same as
someone who is using a traditional real estate agent?
A. Yes, your listing will look exactly the same. There is no way
to distinguish between the two listings.
Q. What is the cost of this program?
A. The cost of the Complete MLS Marketing Package is $450, which
is based upon the services provided. Yet we strongly believe that
the value of our package is much higher than its price.
Q. Isn't your price a bit too high?
A. Providing two Realtor Associations may be costly but it's a
highly effective way of advertising your home. This is something
most flat fee dealers don't offer and this is one of the reasons we
believe the Complete MLS Marketing Package is superior. If you are
strictly price shopping, call for our low price guarantee.
Q. Is my personal information kept private?
A. Absolutely! MLS450 will NEVER share your information with

Q: What is Realtor.com?
A: Realtor.com is
a 3rd party website which displays a partial set of data from
your MLS Listing. The Listing is automatically created and it
will not have the same amount of data as your MLS Listing. As of
January 2007, Realtor.com also shares this information with the
following websites: America Online, MSN, Netscape, Moving.com,
Juno, Net Zero, Excite, iWon, Wall Street Journal WSJ.com,
Compuserve, Chicago Sun Times, and the Daily Herald. Realtor.com
Rules prohibit the showing instructions and/or the seller's
contact information to be displayed, or allow links to websites.
The standard Listing will display a partial set of data from
your MLS Listing along with a color photo. The Showcased
Realtor.com Listing requires the Broker Affiliate to have a
membership. A Showcased Realtor.com Listing will also display a
partial set of data from your MLS Listing.
